Today we set out to distribute food packets to people living below the poverty line. It wasn’t the easiest job—there were so many people that at one point it felt like a full-on dhakka-mukki championship! But even through all the pushing, pulling, and chaos, we managed to share every packet with love.
Seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces made every bit of the struggle worth it. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do—because even a small packet of food can bring a big moment of happiness.

Date: 20th June 2025
Organized by: RORTRUST | Led by Kavya Singh, Trustee
In a heartfelt initiative aimed at saving lives, RORTRUST organised the Radium Belt Distribution Drive for stray dogs living near highways and busy roads This event, originally scheduled for 10th June, was successfully conducted on 20th June 2025.
The goal of this initiative was simple yet powerful — to make stray dogs more visible during nighttime, reducing the risk of tragic road accidents.
Most stray dogs wander near highways at night, often invisible to fast-moving vehicles. Radium collars and belts reflect headlights, ensuring drivers can see them from a distance. This small act can mean the difference between life and death.
Volunteers from RORTRUST walked through key roadside areas of Bijnor
Radium belts were gently tied on stray dogs after ensuring they were safe and calm
Locals were sensitized about animal safety and compassion
“We may not be able to speak their language, but we can certainly protect their lives. Every glowing belt is a promise — that we see them, care for them, and value their life.”

We’re distributing reflective radium belts to street dogs—especially in high-risk areas like highways and dark stretches—to improve their visibility at night and protect them from road accidents.
Studies have shown that such reflective collars can reduce stray-animal accidents by up to 90% in tested areas.
Each belt shines vividly when headlights hit it, giving drivers crucial extra time to spot and avoid the dog—saving lives, both animal and human.
“A glowing belt. A safer street life.”
